Load up on takeaways!

Street food has always formed part of the Fore Play formula and whilst we are
not strictly a food-driven business, we have championed fresh, cooked-to-order food
since the very beginning. From dirty burgers to BBQ jackfruit loaded fries, cooking up
banging street food has always been our jam.

So we are thrilled to now be offering our LOADED menu for delivery. Like many
restaurants and operations throughout Glasgow, we are grateful that the government
– in a (can we say rare?) swift and positive intervention, removed all red tape for
pubs, restaurants and venues that wish to offer takeaway.

While few hospitality businesses will be able to maintain normal revenues during this
crisis, introducing a delivery service will most certainly help. And the ‘help’ goes far
beyond income for the business. For those who are vulnerable, self-isolating or haven’t
been able to access a delivery slot, takeaway deliveries are meeting a societal need.

At the very least, its a fond reminder of better times, when we could dine in groups
and enjoy a meal without having a pile of dishes for dessert.
