Where to Celebrate Pride Month in Edinburgh

Fore Play Crazy Golf may be a pop-up venue, however we believe in creating a permanent safe and accepting space for our staff and customers to enjoy. We believe that everyone should be able to express themselves freely and without fear regardless of their gender identity, expression or sexuality. To help everyone celebrate pride month, we’ve put together a few of our favourite Edinburgh LGBTQIA+ businesses for you to check out and fall in love with.

Booyah Beauty Bar

Booyah Beauty Bar opened in March of this year and has created an accessible, queer friendly salon space for everyone. 4 years in the making Lauren and Charlie really put their hearts into creating this business. Offering just about every beauty treatment you could possibly desire, Booyah also employs an amazing team of staff who can ease anyone’s nerves.

The Gull’s Grocery

Celebrating their one year anniversary earlier this year, Em and Luna’s ‘The Gulls Grocery’ is a must have on your Queer Business list. Not only can they boast about being an affordable and safe space to pick up your weekly veggies but also being a sustainable option where you can buy what you need with loose veg and refill stations for household detergents etc. 

CC Blooms

Founded in 1994 and transformed in 2008 by owners Mitch and Tim, CC Blooms hosts a vibrant array of drag performances for all to enjoy, offering a fabulous nightlife experience. CC’s also serves up a delicious menu of food from 11am to keep you fuelled up whether your night’s plans are a show at CC’s or the theatre.

Kafe Kweer

If you’re looking for a sober LGBTQIA+ space Kafe Kweer has you covered. Hosting monthly exhibitions and other events spread throughout the week ranging from sexual health advice groups to zine fairs. Kafe Kweer creates an artistic and affordable space for everyone to enjoy.
